July Artist’s Talk – Richard Forster

Wednesday 6th July

7.30pm – Darlington Central Club, 7 Beaumont St, Darlington DL1 5RN

Join blimey! and artist Richard Forster for July’s talk – this is definitely not one to be missed and everybody is very welcome.

Richard Forster’s drawing practice explores a documentary approach to time, process and the artist’s sense of place, bringing him back again and again to three places in particular: Firstly, the shoreline of his birthplace, Saltburn-by-the-sea in the north-east of England; Secondly, Levittown, the prototypical post-War American suburb; and thirdly, the former DDR, now part of a re-unified Germany. Born in 1970 and raised in the Tees valley, Richard currently lives and works in Darlington.
