blimey! Picnic

Come along on Sunday 15th July at 1pm for our first ever blimey! Picnic. It’ll be an opportunity to visit a brand new piece of artwork celebrating this newly planted community forest. Bring along a picnic blanket, and food & drink, you can even make it art themed if you like. Sketchbooks and dogs welcome!

We’ll be having the picnic just in front of the artwork, look for the colourful glass piece and head towards that. The nature reserve is on the A66, the road with the Brick Train by David Mach. Cars can be parked at the roundabout (which connects with B6279, the road which goes past the side of Lingfield Point) with the boulders or a bit further down in a layby on the same side (towards Marton Park). For further info, please get in touch with us on blimeydarlington@yahoo.com, or just turn up on the day.
